This jacket is the Arc’teryx Beta AR Jacket / Hoody (All Round), the core versatile hardshell in the Beta series. Designed for all-weather alpine/outdoor environments, it’s lightweight, packable, durable, waterproof, and breathable—suitable for hiking, mountaineering, ice climbing, skiing, and more. Featuring a hybrid construction, it employs more abrasion-resistant fabric on shoulders/arms/hood while utilizing a lighter, more breathable material on the torso. This represents Arc’teryx’s most iconic “All Round” hardshell design. The 2025 update incorporates GORE-TEX PRO ePE membrane (PFAS-free eco-friendly version), further enhancing durability and sustainability.

Hood: StormHood™ adjustable hood (helmet-compatible, low-profile construction)
